Enthalpy from internal energy calculator

When a reaction or physical process is studied at constant volume, calorimetry often reports the internal energy change ΔU rather than the enthalpy change ΔH that textbooks and constant-pressure tables use.

For ideal-gas species the two state functions differ by the pressure–volume work term written with the change in gas moles: ΔH equals ΔU plus Δn_g times R times absolute temperature T. This capability applies that identity deterministically. You supply the internal energy change, the net change in moles of gas between products and reactants, and the temperature in kelvin; optionally override the gas constant when your energy unit is not joules. The response returns ΔH, the intermediate Δn_g R T contribution, the normalized inputs, and a simple exothermic, endothermic, or thermoneutral label. Negative temperature fails with invalid input so non-physical kelvin values never become a silent wrong answer. The browser widget runs free on your device; the prepaid API charges $0.002 per successful item when servers and SDKs need the same contract.
