Frequency wavelength converter

This frequency wavelength converter turns a single frequency into a wavelength, or a single wavelength into a frequency, using the vacuum speed of light by default or any wave speed you choose.

The underlying monochromatic relation is wavelength equals speed over frequency, and frequency equals speed over wavelength. When speed is in metres per second and wavelength is in metres, frequency is exactly in hertz. Enter only one of the two quantities so the engine cannot silently prefer a conflicting pair; a zero frequency is rejected because division by zero is undefined. The path is fully deterministic: finite arithmetic, no network calls, no sampling, and no date-dependent shortcuts. Typical checks include three hundred million hertz under vacuum light for about one metre of wavelength, and three hundred forty metres per second over zero point six eight metres for five hundred hertz in air.
