The underlying monochromatic relation is wavelength equals speed over frequency, and frequency equals speed over wavelength. When speed is in metres per second and wavelength is in metres, frequency is exactly in hertz. Enter only one of the two quantities so the engine cannot silently prefer a conflicting pair; a zero frequency is rejected because division by zero is undefined. The path is fully deterministic: finite arithmetic, no network calls, no sampling, and no date-dependent shortcuts. Typical checks include three hundred million hertz under vacuum light for about one metre of wavelength, and three hundred forty metres per second over zero point six eight metres for five hundred hertz in air. The API is asynchronous: the call returns a task_id immediately and the result arrives by webhook. Polling is capped at 1 req/s per task.
