Mixing those notations by hand is easy to get wrong because the relationships use the tangent of the roof angle, not a simple linear scale. This roof pitch converter takes one non-negative pitch in rise-in-12, degrees, or percent slope and returns the full set of equivalents with a fixed twelve-unit run, plus radians and the unitless rise-over-run ratio for CAD and spreadsheet pipelines. Negative rise values are rejected with a clear invalid input error so inverted planes never look like a valid roof schedule. The browser widget runs free on your device; the prepaid API charges $0.002 per successful item when estimating tools, permit apps, or material calculators need the same deterministic contract from servers and SDKs.

The API is asynchronous: the call returns a task_id immediately and the result arrives by webhook. Polling is capped at 1 req/s per task.
