FAQ

How is the target calculated?

weight_kg x 35 ml, multiplied by an activity factor (low 1.0, moderate 1.15, high 1.3) and a climate factor (temperate 1.0, hot 1.2).

What are the defaults?

activity defaults to moderate, climate to temperate and decimals to 0. Only weight_kg is required.

What units are returned?

Both ml (whole millilitres by default) and liters (rounded to two decimals). For 70 kg, moderate, temperate that is 2818 ml and 2.82 litres.

What weights are accepted?

A finite weight_kg greater than 0 and up to 300. Values outside that range return an invalid_input error.

Is this medical advice?

No. It is a general estimate; real needs vary with health, medication and pregnancy. The API is priced from $0.002.

The API is asynchronous: the call returns a task_id immediately and the result arrives by webhook. Polling is capped at 1 req/s per task.

Per request$0.002

Published price — no tokens, no invented credits. A failed task is never charged.

Errors

HTTP	Code	Meaning
`401`	`unauthorized`	Missing or invalid API key.
`402`	`insufficient_balance`	Your balance doesn't cover the task price.
`404`	`unknown_type`	That task type doesn't exist.
`429`	`rate_limited`	Too many requests. Use the webhook instead of polling.
